Helms – Mr. Leonard Forrest Helms, aged 54 of Morley, passed away Monday, March 1, 2010.  Leonard was preceded in death by his father, Leonard; mother, Golden; brother, Randy and his infant brother.  Surviving are his wife, Laura; children, Lodema (Paul) Holliday, Leonard Frank Helms, Rocky (Amber) Helms, Tammy (Ed) Edwards, Alicia (Josh) Piers, Leonard Forrest Helms; step children, John Timmer, Cyndle Rudnick; 12 grandchildren; brothers Rick (Becky), John (Tera), Fred (Veronica), Leo (Christina); sisters, Peggy Pekel, Barb (Henry) Gamble, Mary (George) Gamble, Ester Helms, Rachel (Joe) Gibbson; half brothers, Leonard J. Helms, Gerald Corcoran, Ted Corcoran; several additional relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held 12 noon, Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at the Sherman Twp. Hall, 2168 South Wisner, Fremont, MI. Leonard's family will greet family and friends just prior and after the services at the hall on Wednesday.
