NICHOLS – Mr. Harold “Harry” Nichols, aged 66 of Byron Center, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2010.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary; and sister, Ruth Ann Challa.  Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Rose (Barone); children, Angela (Eron) Fernandes, Kerry (Micah) Herin; grandchildren, Kailen, Henry, Dean Herin; brothers, Jim Nichols, Harold Magee, Chuck (Pat) Nichols; sisters, Charlet (Jack) Horn, Shirley (Terry) Raak; 4 brothers-in-law; 1 sister-in-law; nieces and nephews.  Harry retired from Steelcase after 28 years.  The family will greet relatives and friends Friday 1 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at the Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave. and one hour prior to the service at church.  Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 27 at 10:30 AM at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 9408 Wilson Ave. SW, with Monsignor Bill Duncan officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association.  Memories and condolences to Harry’s family may be shared at www.stegengafuneralchapel.com.
