LEGATE - Mrs. Bonnie L. Legate aged 80 of Grand Rapids, was called home by the Lord on Thursday, February 16, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Legate Sr., and great granddaughter, Leana Harroun. Surviving are her children, Debra (Doug) Nozal, William (Diane) Legate Jr., Renee (Jim) Harroun; 8 beloved grandchildren; 14 precious great grandchildren; many extended family and friends. Bonnie was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, and was greatly loved by her family and friends. Private family services were held. Over the years while doing Bonnie's nails, she shared so many stories. Almost every one was about her family. So many fun events, dinners, and celebrations. I loved hearing about Christmas shopping. She, with helpers, began way in advance getting just the right gift for each person. I never met a person who was so excited about Halloween. Decorations inside, and out, special goodies, and most of all the family party. She was so impressed that the grandkids as they got older still wanted the party. Oh ya, of course Bonnie liked to dress up too. Can't forget trailer stories, she loved her trailer, and was greatful it was large enough for guests. She kept favorite snacks for all. I can't forget to share her love for her dog. What a great companion. 🐾🐾. I know you all know she loved you. Bonnie was a wonderful person who was so content with her life.
