I always addressed her as Mrs. Blacquiere. She is my best friends mother and I will always cherish the times she smiled at me and enjoyed my company. Just recently, she attended my mothers 90th birthday party and still radiated with that loving smile. Mrs. Blacquiere will never be forgotten in my mind, but remembered as one of God's Angels. "Our Chickie", my wife and i became her next door neighbor at Leisure East just 4 short years ago.Chick made a huge impression on us, she was a lovely, vibrant, little spitfire. We loved her immediately and considered her our adopted mom and i believe she adopted us as well. I can say she was the most positive, loving, and open-minded 90 year old i have ever met. She always told me she felt God put me there as her neighbor just for her, i agreed and also that it went both ways because she was there for us. I was envious at how much she was loved by her children and her entire family, i admired how much they communicated and visited with her. She always told me how fortunate she was to have such wonderful children, and she truly was. Suzanne and I truly loved her and she will be in our hearts forever and we know she will be an angel in heaven for us. Love, Steve and Suzanne Kaldenberg
