Nichols - Kristina Faith Nichols aged 50 of Grand Rapids, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; sister, Janice Kerkstra Rodriguez. She is survived by her children, Holli Nichols, Kendra (Benjamin Sr.) Wright, Shawn Nichols, Brian Nichols, Kenneth Nichols Jr.; grandson, Benjamin Wright Jr, and one on the way; parents, Ronald and Clara Kerkstra; brothers, Ronald (Debra) Kerkstra Jr. James (Mae Truong) Kerkstra; sister, Bonnie (Louis) DeBoer. So sorry to read about the loss of Kristy. I remember her as a little girl going up and down the street. She got older and grew up so fast. I would see her sometimes going to her Mom and Dads house to visit.

Within the past few years i started having lunch with mom. It wasn't a regular thing, but I'm glad we got to do that together. We would go to Bob Evans on Walker or I would take her to go get a good steak somewhere. A blessing for sure when i was trying to bless her.
