She was preceded in death by her husband Fred in 1986, a son, 2 grandchildren and one great grandchild. She faithfully served her family and Lord, from her early days in Platte SD, to nurses training at Pine Rest where she met Fred on a blind date. Their home was always open - having served as foster parents for Bethany Home - to providing respite care for several people. Her faith was evident in the many Bible studies that she lead, prayer warrior ministry, years as Sunday School Superintendent, her amazing memorization of scripture, and the 4 weeks she spent in Merida, Mexico for 6 years with IDEA Ministries. Fred and Alyce were active charter members of Ideal Park church. Her life has touched so many people and her children do rise up and call her blessed. Her last nine years were lived at Samaritas, where she loved many and was loved by many. Her family is thankful for the care that she received and to Faith Hospice during the last years.
