Rutter-Mrs. Ann Rutter, aged 98 of Rockford, went to be with her Lord, Friday, September 28, 2018. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, John William; brothers, Joseph, Bruno, Andrew and Vincent . Surviving are her daughter, Barbara-Ann (Andries) van Haren; grandchildren, Karl van Haren, Annemarie (Roy) Gildersleeve, Jennifer (Greg) Rottman, Brian (Jodi) van Haren, Elizabeth (Shawn) Wessell; great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Asher, Andrew, John, Sara, William, Brandon, Kaitlyn, Emma, Darion, Mallory, Maiya, Calvin, Wyatt; sister, Frances Simmons; sisters-in-law, Yvonne Korony, Alice Korony; several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Consolata Missionary Sisters - Chapel, 6801 Belmont Ave NE, Belmont, MI. The family will greet relatives and friends Tuesday, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with prayers at 7:30 p.m. at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE. and one hour prior to the Mass at Consolata Missionary Sisters - Chapel.
