Beatrice “Bea” Feddema aged 85 of Kalamazoo went to be with her Lord Wednesday, September 11, 2019. Bea was born August 5, 1934 and raised on a farm in Allendale. Bea was an active member of her Church and a leader of Bible Study Fellowship for many years. She was a spiritual leader to her family and anyone who would lister to her tell of her love for Jesus. Bea was an accomplished pianist and enjoyed a lifelong love of Christian Music. Mostly Bea enjoyed summers with extended family at the cottage at Gun Lake. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob “Jack” Feddema; parents, Bert and Martha Lemmen; sister, Ethel Vander Lugt; sister-in-law, Elsie Lemmen; brothers-in-law, Tunis Vander Lugt and Bruce Stegenga. Bea is survived by her 5 sons and their wives, Len (Mary), Jack (Stephanie), Jim (Cheryl), Mark (Dawn), Jeff (Sue); grandchildren; Lynne (Brett) Logan, Kristin (Aaron) Klooster, Jon (Jesscia) Feddema, Jacob Feddema, Chelsea (Keith) Irwin, Jaclyn (Dave) Zigler, Renee (Tyler) Kelley, Joseph Feddema, Kayla Rose Feddema, Alisa Feddema, Kaitlin Feddema, Josh (Hannah) Feddema, Kari Feddema, Jason Feddema, Kelsey Feddema, Rachel Feddema; 10 great grandchildren; brothers, Bern Lemmen, Maurie (Lorraine) Lemmen; sister, Norma (Klaas) Stegenga Kapteyn; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 2nd Christian Reformed Church, 3015 Nichols Rd, Kalamazoo, MI. The family will greet relatives and friends from 10:00AM until time of service on Saturday at Church. Lunch and fellowship will follow the service. Memorial contributions in Bea’s memory may be made to Kalamazoo or Byron Center Christian Schools or 2nd CRC.
