I will always remember how sharp Carl's mind worked. He kept up on current events and was a very common sense type person which I have greatly appreciated. I never heard him speak badly of anyone-could always see the positive in any situation. He was never one to talk about his problems, but always encouraged you to talk about yours. In this picture, I see a lot of Laura. So exceedingly sorry for the whole families loss.

I am so sorry to hear of Carl's passing. He was a wonderful neighbor and friend to my family for many years. My mother knew she could count on Carl if she needed something done around the house. And he always knew how to fix the problem! He would also brighten her day with his visits. He certainly had a gift for conversation! He was a devoted friend, husband, father, and grandfather. My sincere condolences to the family. I'm sorry I will not be able to attend the celebration of his life as I have prior commitments in the Sault. My sincere condolences to Laura and the rest of the family.
