Growing up, Uncle Chris was always a favorite! I loved going to the park, Adventureland, the Iowa State Fair, fishing, mushroom hunting, or just watching cartoons with him. He was always laughing and smiling, giving bear hugs and rubbing his whiskers on my face! Uncle Chris holds s very special place in my heart and memory bank! Love you always!

A funny memory was When we first met in Iowa I ordered a meal and everyone ordered the same even though they didnt like it!! . One of my favorite memories with Chris was taking him fishing at Gun Lake! He was so happy to be fishing. Vince Alighire

My favorite memory of Chris is his million dollar smile and his delicious apple dumplings. He was a really good cook. His sister-in-law Norma Jean Rawlins

My memory of Chris was when I needed bottled water frozen for the rabbits at the county fair. He froze them for me and even found old socks to put them in. Chris was a gentle Teddy Bear who loved Bonnie, Mariah, and Danny to the fullest. A friend, Marilyn Williams
