Ferro - Doris Ferro aged 83 of Kentwood, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred; son, Fred Jr.; brother, Dennis Brott; parents, Clifford and Lucille Brott. Doris is survived by her children, Rick, Gary, Greg, Brian, Jessica a granddaughter whom she raised as a daughter. grandchildren, Rick, Brett Tony, Caila; great grandchildren, Trevor, Sierra, Jerome Jr.; brother Raymond Brott; sisters, Lillie Jackman, Linda Dunham; sister-in-law, Mary Lou (Roger) Longstreet. Funeral service will be held 11AM Monday, April 22, 2019 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Wyoming, 3131 S. Division Ave. The family will greet relatives and friends from 10AM - 11AM prior to the service at the funeral chapel. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. I worked with Doris at Ace for many years. Jessica she loved you so much !!! She would tell us about how close you and your Grandpa were and how much it meant to have you with her after he passed. Her face lit up with so much joy when she spoke of you and things you had going on at school. I remember when you got your house she was so proud of you and being a great grandma brought her so much joy. Doris was there for me after my husband died .She made sure I got to work that if i needed to talk she was there to listen. You had an amazing Mom /Grandma she will be missed by many.
