For Bob Lynema, children and grand children, it is with enormous grief that I send my deepest sympathy, to all of you . Finding of Betty's passing I am filled with unbelievable sorrow not realizing we had lost her… I've thought of all of you very often and am sorry that since your move to Byron Center that I didn't keep intouch with your family as I should have. I don't get the GR press, or any other informative paper and way haven't had cable TV for along while now, so communication is strictly radio, every now and then and haven't been up, much on things, but, I am truly sorry of missing Betty's passing, I should have been there for her! The Lord knows that she and her family were always there for me.! I'll be forever greatful, and, grateful that she was here and touched my life in so many ways… I'm, just, having such a hard time believing she has left us…...? She has certainly earned her spot at the feet of Our Lord And Savior Jesus Christ ... ! She helped everyone, and anyone. The kindness that Betty and Bob have shown to others was unbounding! I, for one, am extremely thankful for the kindness and care they have shown to me and my family….She will be greatly missed here on earth… Most merciful Father, we commend our departed into your hands. We are filled with the sure hope that our departed will rise again on the Last Day with all who have died in Christ. We thank you for all the good things you have given during our departed earthly life. O father, in your great mercy accept our prayer that the Gates of paradise may be opened for your servant. In our turn may we too be comforted by the words of faith until we greet Christ in glory and an united with you and out departed, Through Christ our Lord, Amen I greatly apologize for not keeping in touch, I have lost, or misplaced, your address and phone number for you in Byron Center? I found this very sad notice of Betty's passing when I was trying to google you to see if I could find your number or address! I wanted to get some information on Bibs back surgery as I'm facing two surgeries on my back. If at all possible for you at this difficult time, I'd appreciate it if you could give me a call, at your convience, and alloy me to ask you afew questions? Respectfully, Karen Bonzheim (616) 375-0187

The first time I met Betty, she insisted on a hug instead of a handshake. Her natural affection and sweet nature immediately drew me to her. We would walk around the block and admire the bounty of beautiful flowers in our neighborhood, trying to name each blossom. Betty always giggled and shook her head when I was often wrong. So much love, given and received, is evident in the wonderful family Betty and Bob have raised. I look forward to meeting Betty again in heaven, where there will be abundant time for our relationships with Christ and each other. I hope we can fly!

Remembering that day on June 15, 1968 when I first met Betty in the maternity ward. She was much faster than I…both our Bobs were checking the boards for progress. I have so many great memories of the kind and giving person that Betty was to me and my family. I will treasure those memories and send my love to her family. Jan Stace
