Frank McClure

McClure-Frank D. McClure aged 80 of Wyoming, Michigan passed away Monday, September 23, 2019. Frank was preceded in death by his precious little daughter, Shirley Mae McClure; parents Arthur and Jennie McClure; sister, Doris Carpenter; brother Dale McClure; grandson Tylor Usher; son-in-law, Arie Mast; dear friend and mother of his children, Jane McClure and his precious dogs Rascal I & II. Frank is survived by his children, Betty Mast, Edna (Gary Goss) Usher, Dale (Mary) McClure; step daughters, Colleen Glavin and Tina Glavin and his precious dog, Cubby. Grand Children, Matthew Mast, Christopher (Angela) Usher, Mitchell (Sarah Grace) Usher, Dannielle (Michael) Emelander; step grandchildren, Chris Carey, Joey (Tori) Carey, Allison (fiancé Alex) Carey, Samuel Carey, Amber Stewart, Dustin Stewart, Kerri Huskey, Casandra Andrusyszyn; great grandchildren, Braedyn, Keegan and Ashton Usher; Hunter, Taylor, Camden and Oakley Emelander and several step great grandchildren ; many nieces and nephews and dear friends. Frank retired from Michigan Wheel with over 50 years of Service as a Machinist. Frank enjoyed going to the Wyoming Dog Park with Cubby. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, they always put a huge smile on his face. His grandchildren and great grandchildren ranged from 39 years of age to 2 Months of age. Frank enjoyed steam engines which was also a passion of his dad’s. Frank followed in his dad’s footsteps with a passion for motorcycles. He shared his passion for motorcycles with his children and grandchildren. Frank and his family enjoyed camping, dirt bike riding and dune buggy riding at Silver Lake Dunes. He loved traveling, especially to the Soo Locks to watch the freighters come and go. Frank enjoyed his Motorcycle trips especially the Midnight Run to the Mackinac Bridge with his son Dale. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 5th, 2019 at Home Acres Reformed Church, 21 Murray St. SE, Kentwood. The family will greet relatives and friends from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM prior to the memorial service at the church. Following the memorial service there will be luncheon at the church.
