WARSEN - Mr. Gerald J. Warsen, aged 79 of Walker, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2020. He was preceded in death by his, wife, Esther, and parents. Surviving are his stepchildren, Warren (Judy) Wilder, Phillip (Sharon) Wilder, Sr., Joseph (Angie) Wilder; grandchildren, Ashley (Josh) Emmons, Mandi (Josh) Mitchell, Tim Wilder, Matthew (Rebecca) Dodge, Daniel (Nikki) Dodge, Phillip Wilder, Jr., Tabitha Wilder, Nathan Wilder, Jeremy Wilder, Brandon Wilder, Noah Wilder; many great grandchildren. One of the sweetest men around! I was recently thinking back to the day he was filled with the Holy Ghost on Rena St. He was so happy and what a beautiful day it was! Jerry was such a sweet man who loved his family dearly, I will miss his smile and the way he would get really excited when he would watch a football game or sporting event. I remember when we brought him to a Griffin's game and he got so excited when they scored he jumped up with hands flying in the air, he knocked a drink right out of a guys hand! The guy didn't care, he was having to much fun watching Jerry 😊 I love you Jerry and will miss you but I rejoice because you are reunited with the love of your life, Esther.
