KARSTEN - Mrs. Geraldine T. Karsten aged 90 passed away Monday, October 22, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Karsten; son’s, Albert Mills, Michael Karsten; daughter, Denise Simon; parents, Reny and Vera Talsma; brothers, Joseph Talsma, Roland Talsma, Albert Talsma. Surviving are her children, Elaine (Dennis) Knaak, Leonard Mills; son-in-law, Ron Simon; daughter-in-law, Jane Karsten; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; brothers, Andrew (Mia) Talsma, Leon Talsma; sister, Arlene Slabbekoorn. The family would like to thank Mary Hutchinson from Mary Free Bed at Home for the loving care of our mother. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM, Friday, October 26, 2018 at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Wyoming, 3131 S. Division Ave. Her family will greet relatives and friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
