Helen Sloboda

SLOBODA- Helen Theresa Sloboda age 87 passed away peacefully Friday, October 13, 2017. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Casmir; parents, Sylvester and Pauline Styburski; brother, Chester Styburski; father/mother in-law, Peter and Francis Sloboda; and brother-in-law, Peter Sloboda. She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Mary Anne (Jim) Schneider, Kathleen Harrington, Diane (Mark) Doyle; grandchildren, Daniel Schneider, Joel Schneider, Kimberly (Eric) O’Brien, Erin (Chris) Chiles, Alex Sloboda, Pauline Harrington; one great grandchild, Bennett Chiles; brother/sister in-laws, Walt (Lois) Sloboda, Lucy (Clarence) Maat, Shirley Sloboda, Pat Stuburski; her great friend for over 80 years, Margaret Stidham; and many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to all her wonderful caregivers at Green Acres in Lowell where she had resided for the last two years. Her Mass of Christian Burial was held at Assumption BVM in Belmont where she was a member for over 50 years.
