Kevin and Maggie, we are so sorry for your loss. We know how much care you gave to Joan. It is refreshing to see a son and daughter-in-law take such a responsibility seriously. It will be a different world with her passing. May God give you comfort as she is now free from illness and limitations. Love to you both! Larry and Bonnie Schwartzkopf

I have so many great memories with grandma and grandpa both. My favorites are when we would all get together for Christmas. Having a big family would sometimes make it difficult…us kids would be eating in one room while the adults would eat in another but we always seemed to make it work. There was pies for days and you could always find a can of Coca-Cola on the back porch. Grandma was always so kind and caring. She loved all her children and grandchildren so much. Even though it hurts that she is gone, I know that she is smiling down on everyone. She is now at rest with all of her loved ones who went home before her.
