Uncle John will be missed! He was always so low key and nice He was a gentle soul. My Dad is really sad to lose his baby brother. Aunt Betty I hope you and Kathleen and the girls find solace in the fact that he led a good life and has found peace in Heaven! We love you and pray for you and hope you find comfort.

We had just moved into the neighborhood, and my daughter was practicing her flute on our back porch. When she finished, we heard clapping from our back yard neighbor. From then on She "played for" the neighbor, even if there was no answer. I'll miss the smell of pipe tobacco coming over our way.

Betty, I am so sorry for your loss, but glad that John is at peace. He and Bob shared such a long and precious friendship. I know, in the time to come, that you and your family will experience at the same time grief and happy memories of a live well loved and well lived. My sympathies go out to you, Kathleen, Cameron and Carlie, and I know that, in the months to come, the joy of his life and love will be the things that you remember the most. I have known John for over 30 years as a skiing buddy who offered me the best skiing in the world in Colorado. He was true to his word and we had the time of our lives for 25 years. He was fast and fearless and I could never catch him up. He was like my elder brother that I never had. I miss him already.
