Sincere condolences from the members of the Women Marines Association. “If the Army and the Navy ever looked on Heaven’s Scenes, they will find the streets are guarded by United States Marines.” (3rd stanza of the Marines Hymn). Take comfort in knowing your beloved Marine has left this life to take up her rightful place in Heaven’s detachment. The Women Marines Association is dedicated to preserving the history of our veterans. We continue to build a diverse collection of uniforms, photos, papers and other artifacts donated by our members and their families. This video tribute to your mom is wonderful. I loved seeing all the photos and the love of your amazing family shines throughi. It was great to see pictures of your fun-loving dad who always teased me (Assy Jo). I am proud to be able to say that Jo was my "God Mother" and I loved her. She was such a kind, loving soul that created a happy home for all of you. What a blessing she was and I am going to miss her. I will continue to pray for all of you and know that I love you.
