SOUTER - Mrs. Kim D. Souter aged 59 passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Eileen Olson; brother, Kurt Olson; sister-in-law, Sandie Olson. Surviving are her husband of 10 years, John; son, Malachi (fiancé Rachel Groters) Fulwiler; step children, Stormie Souter, Michael Souter, Loralee Souter (Michael Allerding); many grandchildren; brother, Mark Olson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Toni (Frank) VanderHaar, Kathy Souter, Stephanie Shepard, Jan Olson; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held 11:00AM at Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Wyoming, 3131 S. Division Ave. Her family will greet relatives and friends Wednesday from 6 to 8PM and one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel. I got to know Kim in 1977. we both worked at the phone company in Rockford, Ill. We had so much fun just being friends, my daughter thought Kim was just so cool. I got to see her over 10 years ago but we didn't get to talk to much but I was so happy to see her,,,she was my bestie for so many years.
