Holquist- Lisa Holquist aged 48 of Jenison, passed away February 2, 2019 from complications of diabetes. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and June Holquist; great nephew, Dylan James. Lisa is survived by her siblings, Pamela (Darwin) Bronson, Brenda (Glen) Visser, Todd (Lisa) Holquist; nieces and nephews, Nicole (Matt) Kooienga, Justin Visser, Todd J. Holquist, John Holquist, Daniel Holquist, Elisabeth Holquist; great nieces and nephews, Hudson, Peyton, Colton, Blake. Lisa considered her pets to be her babies. Her special babies were her dogs, Lulu and new puppy Maci. Lisa also had a special bond with Dr. Michael Meyers and his staff. They went above and beyond in taking care of her. The family invites you to an open house to share memories of Lisa. The open house will be held at Garden Park Church of God, 5615 Madison Ave SE, Kentwood, MI 49548 from 5:00 to 7:00PM Saturday, March 2, 2019. Lisa will be missed and I thank God for the good friend she had always been to my son Christopher Davis and opening her home for me to stay when visiting my son Roger. Also Lisa was generous in taking care of her father's needs and expenses when he was sick and his funeral expenses. She now enjoys eternity with her mom, dad and her aunt. She so loved her family as well as her fur babies. Lisa rest in peace
