Marianne is survived by her children, Sheila Steele, Steven Terry, Gary Brown, Fred Brown, Faith Dangerfield; grandchildren, Rocheal Steele, Xavier Brown, Tessa Brown, Brynlee Lonser-Brown, Jared Dangerfield, Tristan Moorman; great grandchildren, Zyaire Steele, Zaiden Steele, Roselina Steele; brothers, Robert (Barb) Buikema, Daniel (Debra) Buikema; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Buikema; several nieces and nephews. Throughout her life, Marianne endured, survived and found peace through many challenges. At Grandville High School, she may not have been very popular, but she was indeed a beacon of dignity, strength and endurance. I will grieve that I was not closer to her, to share her wisdom.
