GRAY - Marsha Lynn Gray age 61 passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Mary Rice. Marsha is survived by her husband, Donald Gray; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leo and Alice Gray; sister, Sharon (Michael) Glenn; brothers, Stephen (Lucky) Rice, Gerry (Jill) Rice, Gary (Cindy) Rice; sisters-in-law, Sheryl (Casey) DeVriendt, Susan (Richard) Opper; close friend and niece, Sarah Franklin; several nieces and nephews; best friend, Jade Hecksel. A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 30 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont. Her family will greet relatives and friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society or the American Heart Association. She took the Lord's hand Thursday evening surrounded by loved ones. She was a class of 75' graduate of Forest Hills Northern and graduated from Booker Institute of Hudsonville in 1999. She was a tough, bold woman who had a great sense of humor and a quick whit. She loved to laugh and had an infectious zest for life. She worked as a nail tech and was a master of her craft. She loved the salon world and her clients. Amongst her many passions, she was an animal lover who loved people, gardening, boating, cooking, shopping, and crafting. She married Don Gray in Key Largo, FL on April 10, 1996, who was the love of her life. She will be forever missed. To a great lady. I remember Marsha saying "your nails are jewels, not tools". She so enjoyed her profession. I worked with Marsha at The Salon in Grand Haven. She was full of life and was very talented! This picture was take at our Salon Christmas party December 2018. We had so many laughs that evening! Marsha will be greatly missed but not forgotten!! Sending my deepest sympathy to all!
