Crumback-Pugh, Reba Elinor of Howard City, Michigan peacefully passed away October 24, 2018, at her Indian Lake home surrounded by her family. She is joining her very missed daughter, Laurie Alice Pugh-Daniels in heaven. Reba is survived by her husband of 56 years, David Pugh. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Cliff) Harshbarger of Montana and son, Scott (Robin) Pugh of Charlevoix, Michigan as well as a son-in-law, Thom Daniels of Howard City. Reba leaves seven grandchildren with a wealth of amazing memories, Shandielle, Reyna, and Nikolette Harshbarger, David (Annie) Daniels and their children Aleigha, Blake and Dawson, Kristina (Andrew) Weber and their daughter Bristol, Alex (Miguel) Moraleta and Christopher Pugh. She was always close to family especially her sisters, Beverly (William) Kingma of Alaska, MI, Carol (Leonard) Zoscsak of Saginaw, MI and Kim (Vern) Kamper of Walker Mi. She was loved by many nieces and nephews. Reba is also survived by her special “always there for her” friend, Laura Cotton-Kroesing. Reba loved people and will be missed by many friends, neighbors and former co-workers. Reba was born September 19, 1943 in Sacramento, California to Willard and Alice Crumback. The family moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan when the children were young. She graduated from Godwin High School in 1961. She married her soul mate, David, on June 23, 1962. David and Reba built their home on Indian Lake in 1971 where they raised their children, and enjoyed their grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed watching the waves, swans, and sunsets until her death. Reba drove school bus for Tri County Schools for 25 years. She loved getting the school children safely to and from school. She also enjoyed a morning coffee with her fellow bus drivers as they shared their stories. The family would like to thank Spectrum Hospice and Johnny Crebessa who went above and beyond during her last few months of a twelve-year battle with Alzheimer’s. Without their help granting the families wish to keep her home would have been very difficult. The disease robbed her of memory and mobility, but it could not take away her humor and that unique giggle. A funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont. Reba’s family will greet relatives and friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel. When Reba was taking her dog DeeDee for their daily “dirty walk"down our unpaved road, she always took the time to stop and chat. She loved sharing stories about her family. I remember her as so very sweet and kind. Always smiling. Jan Malmo
