Rex Hogle

Rex Ellis Hogle November 23, 1935 - July 14, 2020 Rex was born in Lakeview, MI, the son of Pete and Estella Hogle. He graduated from Lakeview High School in 1954, then served in the Army from 1958 to 1960. He worked as a millwright and boiler operator at GenCorp in Ionia for 43 years, retiring when the plant was closed. Rex is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jennifer Hogle, son, Mark (Catherine) of Farmington Hills, MI, and daughter Stef (Scott) of East Lansing, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings; Jack, Mike, Ed, Jerry, Don, Gene and Patsy and grandson, Walker Winterstein. He is survived by brothers, Dick (Fern) of Dewitt, Peter of Lakeview, and sister Betty Selfridge of Mecosta, three grandsons, Ellison, Aidan and Jacob, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends, who will miss him dearly.
