Coykendall - Robert T. Coykendall aged 83 of Wyoming passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019. Per his wishes cremation has taken place and private services will be held later. Robert proudly served his county in the US Navy active duty and as a reservist for 30 years making HM1 rank. He was a member of the Naval Enlisted Reserve Association, Fleet Reserve Association and was a member of the West Michigan Bonsai Club. He retired from Blodgett hospital as an X-ray technician after 40 years of service where he was affectionately known as “Turk”. He spent 5 years restoring his 1968 Ford Galaxie convertible. Robert had also volunteered as a printer at the Grand Rapids Public Museum, loved woodworking projects and was always tinkering with something.
