KIBBEY - Mr. Robert A. Kibbey aged 81 of Kentwood passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017. He is survived by his sons, Richard Kibbey, Robert (Peggy) Kibbey, Jr.; grandchildren, Robert A. Kibbey III, Daniel Kibbey; step-sister, Debby (Scott) Konwinski. Robert was preceded in death by his daughter Alicia Kibbey. Robert spent his professional career in the Wyoming/Kentwood area as an insurance agent with the American National Insurance Company. A funeral service will be held 12noon, Thursday August 31 at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Wyoming, 3131 S. Division Ave. His family will greet relatives and friends from 10 until the start of the service at noon. We knew Robert as "Tony". He was our wonderful brother-n-law for many, many years. Tony always had a big smile and big hug and kiss on the cheek for my and my girls. We have many great memories of laughing at silly jokes at family gatherings. My brothers jokingly nick named him "Tone The Fun Guy" 😊 On behalf of myself and my husband Fred and our girs, Amber and Aubree, we send our thoughts, sympathy and prayers to his family.
