Scott & I were best friends in High School, and we played together in several bands - Daystar being my favorite. His drum skills were amazing. He taught me to listen to music I had never considered, to read the liner notes, and to buy albums released by the individual band members. I have some music most people have never heard of because of that (Luther Grosvenor, Jim Capaldi, etc.). I also remember just hanging out. Sometimes there's nothing better than just hanging out. He got me my first job at Conway-Cleveland, and he used to pick me up every morning in his brown Chevelle to go to work. I'm not sure how we lost touch, but it happened, and that saddens me almost as much as losing him from this life. This is hitting me hard. You were a good friend, Scott. You are sorely missed! Praying for friends and family in this tough time!

To Sister Laurel, Wife Sharie & ALL Scott's family. It saddened me to hear from another NHS friend of Scott's passing. There are no words that will ease anyone's pain or truthfully express the sorrow one truly feels. I knew Scott from high school & what I remember is that Scott was a Great drummer & he loved music. Scott was always smiling, friendly & you could see his zest for life and music. Heaven now is home for Scott, another school mate & a wonderful man as is evident in his family with his wife, children & grandchildren. He will be missed but never forgotten & we WILL SEE HIM AGAIN as he waits for that day while sitting with our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ. God's Speed Scott. R.I.P.
