My brother and I were just kids on summer vacation. We were meeting the family for the first time. I was excited because they had horses , chickens and woods all around. My cousins were our age and we were going to be there for 2 weeks. Pam Scott and Brian made us feel so welcome and we all became fast friends. Swimming in the pond, running away from aggressive roosters, and riding the horses. We learned to pick green beans from the garden. It was my best summer ever. Scott and I became close cousins we would write back and forth over the years. A phone call here and there and I saw each other when I traveled from California to visit my extended family. He shared about his love for God and his wife Amy. He was so proud to be a father and loved his daughters deeply. I cherish these memories so I want to share them with all of you.

Scott was THE BEST WATER POLO AND SWIM DAD EVER!! He loved his daughters and was their biggest fan! He was the highlight of all our games when he stood at the top of the stands, at the railing, and he vocalized loudly, "LET'S GO EAGLES!!! LET'S GO EAGLES!!" Nobody could do it better. He was the most positive personality. I am soo sorry I am just seeing this and did not get to visit the family. Maureen and Jay Pluger Brooklyn, Jason and Spencer

I will always remember Scott's high energy and love for life. He loved Amy, Jennifer & Heather and was always proud of their accomplishments. When Lucas joined the family, Scott welcomed him as a son and was proud of him, too. The real highlight of these past few years has been his grandchildren. When we were coming to visit, I asked him if I could bring him a favorite food. He just asked for cookies for the kids which he kept next to him in a large tin. When the kids came in the door, they immediately crawled up next to him for their cookies. He was delighted with them.

Truly sorry for the family's loss. Scott was his daughters biggest fan from swimming to water polo he was always there cheering them on. Always in a upbeat positive mood. And one of the best cooks I knew. Thoughts and many prayers being sent to the family. Love you guys.
