Twyla Baker

BAKER - Twyla Joachim Baker, age 85, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2019. She was preceded in death by her sister, Dolores Cantrell; brothers, Lyndon Joachim and Layton Joachim. Twyla is survived by her sons, Steve (Tandika Star) Baker, Kevin Baker, Dan Baker, Andy (Sue) Baker; grandchildren, Laurie (Joe) Luczyk, Amanda Higbee, Melissa (Levi) Kendell, Courtney Baker, Chase (Shelby) Baker, Michael Baker, Erik Baker, Brittany Baker, Tom (Cassie) Baker, Bekah Baker, Tori Baker; great grandchildren, Colin, Guenevere, Matthew, Brandon, Samantha, Annabelle, Kayden, Dakota. Twyla was active in her church, Second Congregational. She sang in the choir and played the handbells. She was also a member of Sweet Adelines and even had the opportunity to sing with them at Carnegie Hall. In her later years, Twyla was a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed art and displayed her creativity in watercolor and stained glass. Private family memorial services have taken place.
