Winifred Remelts

REMELTS - Mrs. Winifred J. Remelts aged 97 passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Kenneth Wiersma and Henry J. Remelts; stepchildren, Robert Remelts, Vern (Katie) Remelts, Luann (Ken) Hansen, Martin Remelts; parents, Anthony and Clara VanStee; brother, Maurie VanStee. Surviving are her daughters, Kathy (Doug) Straub, Arlynn Nash; stepdaughters, Joyce VandenBosch; stepdaughter-in-law, Ester Remelts; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Jack (Trudy) VanStee; many nieces and nephews. Winifred was very faithful to her church. She will be remembered for her love of playing the organ for many years. Special cousin, like a sister, Ruth Joyce Thiebout and close family friend, Jean LaBarge. Thank you to Heartland Health Care Center - Crestview (36th St) for the love and care shown to Winifred during her stay and final day at. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Fair Haven Ministries, 2900 Baldwin St., Hudsonville, with visitation one hour prior to the service at Church.
