Adam Jay Veurink, age 21, of Byron Center, was called to his heavenly home following accidental injuries on Monday, September 27, 2021. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Marjorie Veurink. He will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Doug and Sandy Veurink; grandparents, Allen and Lois Veurink, Bill and Carolyn Heethuis, Carole Heethuis; sisters, Amber and Azandra Veurink; birth mom, Elizabeth Ayala and sister, Mechille Ayala; girlfriend, Kira Bosco. Adam was a gentle, tender soul who would do anything for anybody. He was like a magnet, attracting friends wherever he went. He loved to work with his hands and had a passion for helping others to repair their cars and motorcycles. He would repair or fix just about anything. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11 am at Pathway Church, 8334 Byron Center Ave. SW, Byron Center with Pastor Chris Engelsma officiating. Burial at Winchester Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave. SW, Wyoming. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Crisis Pregnancy Outreach of Tulsa, OK.
