Asher Joseph Johnson

Asher Joseph Johnson, 8 months and 19 days old, was taken too soon on Wednesday evening, November 22, 2023. Asher was gifted to his surviving parents, Keenan Johnson and Olivia Miller on March 3rd, 2023 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Asher was born into this world and in no time was overflowing the hearts of his awaiting parents and grandparents, Don and Zenna Miller, Vinnie and Angela Licari, Niel and Abbie Stoppa and Brian Johnson. Asher also leaves behind three uncles, Giovanni Licari, Austin Johnson-Stoppa, and Dylan Johnson. Asher was also cherished by his large extended family and friends. A light never shined so bright as the light that shone from this little boy. He was adored by all who knew him in the short time he was alive and he will always be a glorious light in the lives of his family left behind. “How very briefly you lived in our world, it feels like only a moment you stayed. But what an imprint you have left upon our hearts.” Funeral services for immediate family and friends will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, November 28 at MKD Stegenga Funeral Home, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont, with Pastor Kent Rottman officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday, November 27 from 4 - 8pm at the funeral home for visitation.
