Betty Toering

Betty Toering, age 83, of Wyoming, passed away to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, May 20, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Pastor Lou Toering; her daughter, Amy Sikkema; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Edward VanDam; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Cornie and Jo Toering, Hank and Geneva Toering, Bert Brouwer, Sonja DeVries. Betty will be lovingly remembered by her children, Ricky and Evie Toering, Tama and William Fuller, Barbara Toering; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Bernice Brouwer; brother, Neil DeVries, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Larry and Annette Toering, Carl and Terry Toering, Kathy and Earl VandenBos, Al and MaryJo Toering; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Tony Hall officiating. Burial will take place at Winchester Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Wednesday, May 24 from 5-8 pm at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the House of Hope at ResLife Church.
