Bonnie Mae Malkewitz

Bonnie Mae Malkewitz, age 85, of Rockford, was welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 19, 2023. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, James Malkewitz, Scott Malkewitz, Thomas Malkewitz, Rochelle (Tony) Combs; grandchildren, Ashleigh Milner, Thomas J. (Alena) Malkewitz, Cameron Malkewitz, Aubrey Malkewitz, Brandon Thomas, many step-grandchildren; great grandchildren, Madyson, Elyssa, Bo, Owen, Alya, many step-great grandchildren; siblings, Betty Rosenberger, Barbara Smith, Beverly Vickery, Alfred (Carol) Altenbernt, Janice (Fred) Beyers, Patty Altenbernt; sister-in-law, Carolyn Malkewitz; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Malkewitz. She was a lifetime member of Sunset Park Church and was a tremendous prayer warrior for those in the church and the community. Bonnie loved her family, church, and her Jesus. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, November 22 at Sunset Park Church of God, 3450 Michael Ave SW, Wyoming with Rev. Paul Myers officiating. Burial will be held at Rosedale Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may greet the family from 10 - 11 am prior to the service at church. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Guiding Light Mission.
