Carol J. (Dykema) Muller, age 81, Grandville, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 11, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; son, Marc Douglas Muller; and brother, Alfred Dykema. Carol was a loving mom, grandma, sister, and a dedicated schoolteacher who touched the lives of many with her wisdom and boundless kindness. Carol and her husband Robert’s love story spanned over 50 years, an enduring testament to the power of love. Their tradition of weekly date nights at Tommy Brann’s was a symbol of their deep connection, one that will continue to flourish in Heaven. Surviving are her children, J.R. Muller, Tamara Muller-Hough and Ken Hough, Marjorie (Angelia Roselynn) Muller; granddaughter, Tonya Muller-Hough; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Judy Dykema, Pete and Anna Dykema; many loving extended family members. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Rev. Hank Vlaardingerbroek officiating. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family from 10:30 - 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
