Carol Koning

September 16, 1937 ~ March 14, 2021

Koning, Carol age 83, of Jenison, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 15, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Koning, parents, Fern & Carl James; sons, Max “Skeeter” Helms, Greg Stogsdill, Ron Koning, Jim Koning Jr., Don Koning; brother, Rick James; daughter-in-law, Patricia McKenize. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Cindy Herrington, Bruce (Sally) Koning, Mary Koning; sister, Judy Randall; sister-in-law, Pat James; many grandchildren; many great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Carol was very involved with her Bible Study group. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and her grandchildren were the light of her life! A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Monday, March 22, 2021 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S Division SW, Wyoming. Relatives and friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service on Monday. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to American Diabetes Foundation. Carol was a fantastic mother, sister, grandmother and cousin. I am honored to say I was part of her life. She always had a smile and a good dispisition and would do anything for you. She will definitely be missed.
