Carolyn Kennedy, age 87, of Jenison went to be with Lord and Savior on Monday, February 17, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Francis Nieboer; and her sister, Barb VanderZyden. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 68 years, Richard; children, Sharon (Craig) Buma, Janice (James) Bush, Rick (Deb) Kennedy, Cara (Andy) Palmer, Rob (Rebekah) Kennedy; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Hank Nieboer, and many nieces and nephews. A private family memorial service will be held with Pastor Lew VanderMeer officiating. Burial will take place at Northport Cemetery in Leelanau Township. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice.
