Corenne “Peggy” Joy Rau, age 80, of Wyoming called to her heavenly home to be with her Lord on Monday, August 5, 2024. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 63 years, Roger; son, James and Jill Rau; nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren. Peggy and Roger owned Southland Tavern, Mizer’s Antique’s and many other businesses for many years. She was known for her award-winning salsa and chili. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, August 8 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday, August 9 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming. Burial will be held at Floral View Memorial Gardens.
