David Gunnink

January 28, 1961 ~ March 2, 2024

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Lois Gunnink. Dave will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 38 years, Ruth Gunnink; his children and grandchildren, Heather and Kevin Deemter (Elle, Maddox, Theo, and Violet), Jordan and Katie Gunnink (Maci, Paige, and Dylan); brothers and sisters, Cindy and Jim Raterink, Deb Gunnink, Fred and Liz Gunnink, Greg and Angela Gunnink; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Carey and Lois Kamps, Dave and Karla Kamps, Lavonne and Terry Kooienga, Sandra and Jim Westing, Lynn and Larry Van Overloop, Jonathon and Tricia Kamps; and several nieces and nephews.

So sad to here of your loss. It’s our loss but Heavens gain. It’s hard to be the spouse left behind to go on with life and wait for the day the Lord calls us home. But we know that someday we will BOTH be reunited with our sweet husbands and live together forever in eternity with our precious Savior. You are in my thoughts and prayers Ruth, and also your family.

My sympathies to the Gunnink Family. I remember Dave and siblings and parents when they lived in Portage and attended Prairie Edge CRC. They lived just down the road from us.
