Ernest Heath

Ernest “Ernie” Heath, age 90, of Allendale, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 22, 2024, and went to be with his Lord.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Faye, and his special friend, Marguerite Holmes. He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Gene and Diana Heath; grandchildren, Jamie and Tim Lee, Kevin and Emily Heath; great-grandchildren, Dakota and Aaron Koetje, Austin and Kayla Mergener, Evan and Madelyn Lee, Gavin and Declan Heath; and great-great-grandchildren, Braxtyn, Brodyn, and Brysyn Koetje, and Riley Mergener; sisters, Linda Brougham and Carol VanDyke. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, September 6, 2024 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Allendale) 6651 Scott St. with Pastor Jason Zimmer officiating. Burial will take place at Parkview Cemetery in Grant, MI. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Friday from 10 to 11 am prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, American Lung Association, or Corewell Health Hospice.
