Eva “Rose” VanderMeer, age 63, of Jenison, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 12, 2022, after many courageous battles with heart disease and cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents Eddie and Helga Houston and her brother, Perry Houston. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Tim; children, Sara (Jessie Ream) Bruinsma, Daniel (Sarah) Bruinsma, David (Lisa) Bruinsma; grandchildren, Kieryn, Asa, Adrian, and Elise; and many dear in-laws, nieces and nephews. Private graveside services will be held at Floral View Memorial Gardens.

Words cannot express how much you will be missed, my dear Rose. So many fun times; crazy things that happened at work, the campground, and, just anywhere. Always a great time. Tim, my love and support I give to you at this time! Rose is a beautiful person that left many good memories behind. Memories of countless meals prepared for our family gatherings. I remember fondly the shower she gave to Michelle and Mary and their husbands. She was indeed, the hostess with the mostest, and loved every moment of it! Rose you were so amazing and such a great Aunt mine and Kevins kids. We will never forget all the camping trips we shared and all the wonderful food you would prepare. We will hold all these special memories close to our heart. Tim I love you and will always be here for you. Prayers for all of you and may God surround you all with his mercies and give you peace. ❤️
