Zeke was a long time family friend. He watched me grow up as well as my children. Zeke was know as the cat man in his later years. He took care of them by feeding and providing shelter to them. Zeke was an amazing guy. He always stoped to talk when he was down our way. He will be miss by me and my little family. Prayers go out to all moarning his loss. I know he will be doing big things in heaven cause he did big things here on earth 🌎. Send up love 🤗 to my friend Zeke.

Zeke was a friend that will be missed a lot. He was one of the first people I met when I first started working at the library on Grandville Avenue. He was really handy and he would help fix things around the library. He would never accept money, but he would accept coffee from McDonald's and breakfast from Shelly's Kitchen as payment. He taught me a lot. One of the things he taught me was the saying, "Dime con quien andas y te diré quien eres." Even when I moved far away he still called and texted. I'm so grateful to have known him and had spent time with him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, his friends, and the community that loved him. May the love that he shared so freely continue to be shared amongst us all.

Zeke was a good friend and a caring contributor to the Roosevelt Park neighborhood. He welcomed, loved, served, and connected so many people (and pets!). He always had a hug and a smile to cheer you up. He was a great storyteller and loved to joke around and tease you. I remember he used to visit me at the church and bring me treats from the neighborhood stores and restaurants. He brightened my day many times. I will miss him but his memories will remain in our neighborhood forever.
