Frances Dick

May 25, 1939 ~ September 19, 2022

Frances Marie Dick, age 83, went to her heavenly home on a beautiful afternoon, September 19, 2022. She is survived by Wil, her dear husband of 66 years. They had just celebrated this anniversary with their children, Barb and Dan Paulucci, Dianne and Tim Slager, and Carol and Larry Meekhof. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Aaron and Nick Paulucci, Drew, Leah, and Emma Slager, Bryan and Nathan Meekhof, and their spouses; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Paul and Kathy Smits; and brothers-in-law, Cap and Georgene Dick, Leonard and Lois Koetje. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Theresa Smits; siblings, Woody (Marilyn) Smits, Marge (Jerry) Draayer, and Eleanor (Arthur) Fredricks. Fran was a caring wife, mom, grandma, and friend. She maintained many lifelong friendships, served at five different congregations, worked hard, traveled extensively, and cared deeply. We mourn her passing, but thank God for the lives she touched. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Fairway Christian Reformed Church, 1165 44th Ave., Jenison, with Rev. Edward Tamminga officiating. The burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday, September 23, from 5-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. and also on Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Uncle Whip and family. Just found out that Aunt Fran is now in her eternal home. We rejoice that she is now with her precious Savior but morn with all of you that are left behind. Have so many fond memories of the entire family and when you came to visit us. Our prayers go with you and know God will wrap his arms of comfort and peace around each of you. Whip so sorry for your loss. I have many good memories of Fran from my childhood when the cousins got together. It was special when we all got together at Paul's house in Florida too. May memories of Fran help you at this time in your life. I send love.

We are so sorry we are unable to be at the visitation or attend the Saturday funeral. We will always cherish the warm smile that Aunt Fran greeted us with every time we met. She left a wonderful legacy of love and care. We lift the entire family up with our prayers. May God shower you with Grace and Peace.

Fran and Whip were in small group with us and always made us feel welcome. Fran had a wonderful gift of hospitality and a beautiful smile that would light up a room. Very thankful for the place she had in my life.
