Gene Warren Jacobs, age 75, of Rockford, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Dorothy Jacobs; nephew, Jeremy Jacobs. He will be lovingly remembered by his brother, John and Judy Jacobs; nephews, Jeffery and Kari Jacobs, Josh and Stacy Jacobs; six great nieces; and one great nephew. Gene graduated from Rockford High School and Grand Valley State College. He was a wine salesman and an avid golfer and fisherman. He cherished his time living and boating on Silver Lake. At Gene’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Cancer Society.
