Gladys Sanford

October 8, 1924 ~ December 21, 2020

Gladys Sanford aged 96 passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Sanford; granddaughter, Tara Miller; brothers, Bob, Ray, Don and Joseph Lathrop; sister, Phyllis Johnson. Surviving are her children, Fred (Mary) Sanford, Linda (Jim) Dickensheets; grandchildren, Sara (Mike) Currier and Brian Dickensheets; great grandchildren, Christopher Talbot, Mikala Talbot, Krystal (Greg Beemer), Donnie (Leah Karrip-Davenport), Leah Davenport-DeBrie (Austin DeBrie); several nieces and nephews. Gladys was a longtime member of Immanuel Christian Reformed Church in Wyoming. She was a member of the 1942 graduation class of Wyoming Park High School. Gladys enjoyed the past 2 years residing at American House assisted living facility. Graveside services will be held 12:00 Noon Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Fairplains Cemetery, 2056 Diamond Ave NE., Grand Rapids.
