Ollie Dishaw, age 46, of Wyoming, passed away at home with his family on Monday evening January 10, 2022. Though born with physical and mental challenges, Ollie outlived doctors’ expectations. He impacted many lives with God’s love during his 46 years. He is now at the feet of Jesus, hearing the words “Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of the Lord.” He will always be in the hearts of his parents, Bud and Jo Dishaw; and his brothers, Dave (Amber) Dishaw, and Jay (Cre) Dishaw. Ollie will be missed by his aunts and uncles, Larry (Pat) Niece, Leigh (Lucie) Niece, Jan (Gerry) Rich, Doris Dietrich, Deb (Roger) Martin, Nancy (Larry) Murdzia, Joy (Dan) VanSuilichem, and Kent and Ruth Eilers. He also has many nieces and nephews that are dear to his heart. The family would also like to thank Jay Dishaw, Taylor Dishaw, Kent Eilers and Ethan Dishaw, who gave special care to Ollie over the years.

To the family of Ollie,
I’m so very sorry for your loss. I never knew him personally but wanted to reach out and give his family some support. Recently I’ve had close friends and relatives pass away and I have found so much comfort from the Bible and what it promises. Isaiah 26:19 says “Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, You residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning, And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life.” The Bible promises that you will see Ollie again! Please be assured your family is in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Ollie always had a smile on his face! We taught us all how to be thankful for who we are and he gave us the opportunity to watch love in action as he was cared for by others. I marveled at his ability to put a puzzle together while all the pieces were upside down! I can almost see him running everywhere, exploring everything in Heaven!
