Harvey Stutzman Jr.

Harvey Stutzman Jr., age 93, of Grand Rapids, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 14, 2024. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis; and second wife, Verna; brother, Rex Stutzman; and daughter-in-law, Suanne Stutzman. He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Martin (Bonnie), Steven (Cindy), and David Stutzman; step-daughter, Becky; step-sons, Steve and Mike; grandchildren, Amanda (Alex) Middleton, Darla (Ryan) Vander Hoek, Doug (Jessie) Stutzman, Parker Stutzman, Kalee Stutzman, and Hope (Joshua) Jennings; greatgrandchildren, Daniel Middleton, Hannah Middleton, Samuel Vander Hoek; sisters-in-law, Paulette Thelen and June Stutzman. Harvey will be remembered for his 40 plus years of dedicated service at Yeakey-Scripps, Inc. In his retirement years he spent the colder months in Central Florida and the warmer months in Grand Rapids, MI. Harvey was an active member of the American Legion, Post 25 in Lake Placid, Florida. He enjoyed spending his time golfing and bowling, and watching tennis matches on TV. A memorial service will be held at noon on Saturday, May 11th at Kentwood Christian Church, 5841 Kalamazoo Avenue SE, Kentwood, with Patrick Gill officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family for an hour prior to the service at church. A private burial will take place after the memorial service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Corewell Hospice.
