I still can’t believe Holly is gone. Jesus blessed my husband, Jon, and I with a beautiful miracle baby, named Hope. Aunt Holly called her baby Hope. She’s 7 months old. I cherish all the times that Hope spent with Aunt Holly.¬†

Thank you so much for sharing Matthew. I am Heather, her sister. She loved working at your organization. One time I drove us there. We took photos of the beautiful flowers and peaked in the windows. She was so happy to work with such friendly and caring people. She appreciated all the gifts the employees gave her.

Holly, you were-are one of my dearest friends! We really got to know each other well these past 7-8 years.
Some of my fondest memories are of times spent with you - especially our little mini-vacations to Lake Michigan beach towns. What fun! You were a valuable member of the Bible studies I attended. You always had a beautiful smile on your face, and it cheered me up to spend time with you. You were a great witness to me and others, demonstrating kindness, generosity and a strong faith in God, your Savior and your hope of heaven. You told me, “I look forward to heaven. I’ve always wanted to go there.” Now you’re there! How wonderful that you can be with Jesus and other loved ones who have passed on! I look forward to seeing you again and of taking more trips with you when God creates the new heaven and the new earth - a new earth we can explore together! Dear God, please comfort all Holly’s family members, including Gerald.
Love, Sue McCarthy

I will miss our chats.
Always a Joy to be around.
We’ve talked quite often over the this past year.
I Believe she had made her Peace with things.
She ALWAYS had a SMILE on her face,
Even on her tougher days.
I was so happy to hear that she went on her vacation,
When she got home she called, and said I’m back!
I’m so glad she had.Gerald Melbourne In her life, they have a very special bond,

I remember Holly smiling in her parents kitchen! We all had lighter hair, wore turtlenecks and our glasses were all twice as large! From all the memories shared it sounds like Holly’s smile is something that never changed and will always be remembered!

I worked with Holly at the Wyoming Community Health Center. She started out there working through the Sheldon House but we were all so very excited to hear she’d been brought on as a regular employee. It’s not just because Holly was amazing at her job, but because she was such a positive influence in our office. I never saw her without a smile on her face and she always had a cheerful story about a weekend camp retreat she’d went on. In the winters she’d take time off to do bell ringing and she always spoke so fondly of her experience there. Every conversation we’d ever had just always brought a smile to my face. I was truly, truly heartbroken to hear that she’s no longer with us. When the pandemic hit, she’d taken time off to keep her family safe. I wish I’d had a chance to say goodbye. She was an inspiration to me and really had a positive influence on my life. She was a wonderful human. The world and Cherry Health are less happy place now that she’s gone. I wish her family all the best and just know that she was loved and respected by us all. We’ll miss you Holly.¬†

Holly and I grew up together at Community Church. We attended Sunday school and calvinettes together. Her warm smile was always welcoming when I visited church over the years. Last Christmas we sang next to one another up on stage and I kept putting my arm around her just like when we were kids. She smiled at my and thought I was silly, belting out the song. She will be missed by myself and many! She was very special to me and I will cherish our special Christmas together.

This year Holly had a Turkey brought to us for Thanksgiving.  And then she also delivered a ham herself to us for Christmas.  Her kindness and thoughtfulness was so wonderful.  She was always smiling at church and was a very kind, gentle and loving girl!  She will be greatly missed.
