It is with great sadness that we announce the departure of our beloved Inderjit Sharma, aged 74. He passed away peacefully on February 7, 2024. Born in Alawalpur, India, Inderjit along with his family immigrated to Grand Rapids in 1981. He achieved the true American Dream, emboldened through the love of his siblings, cultivating a simple life full of love and devotion to family and all that surrounded him.
Inderjit is survived by his wife, Mamta; their sons, Aman, Raman and his wife Jenea; their granddaughters, Suriya, Jailyn, Paisley; and great-granddaughter, Nova; and is remembered by countless family members and friends.
Funeral and visitation will be at 1:00 pm on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at MKD Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, followed by lunch. The service will be available via livestream at MKD Funeral Home Memorial Service Live.
